POOL MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Pool Manager to join our team.
The Pool Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our aquatic facilities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and managing staff members.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pool maintenance and safety protocols, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Ultimately, the Pool Manager will ensure our aquatic facilities provide a safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons.
As the Community Association Pool Manager at Candlewood Lake, you will be the face of the Association Office and responsible for supporting our unique, eclectic, and evolving gated community of over 700 homeowners and nearly 200 seasonal campers. All Association staff must follow the Board’s policies to preserve and enhance the spectacular natural beauty of our 250-acre forested lake and 1,500-acre community containing parks and green spaces. REQUIREMENTS

· Outstanding interpersonal communication skills
· Proven ability to assess, identify, prioritize, and solve problems
· Ethics, integrity, transparency, and accountability in all actions

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven work experience as a Pool Manager or similar role
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) certification preferred
  • Knowledge of pool maintenance and safety protocols
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • First Aid, CPR and Lifeguarding certification
  • Good physical condition and stamina
  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in recreation or relevant field is a plus

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring the safety and comfort of all pool users by enforcing pool rules and regulations
  • Recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and assigning lifeguards and staff members as needed to ensure smooth operation of the pool facility
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the pool, pool area, and related facilities
  • Administering first aid and performing water rescues when necessary
  • Coordinating and organizing pool events, such as swim lessons and other community activities
  • Handling customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally
  • Ensuring compliance with all local and national health and safety regulations
  • Maintaining records of pool usage, chemical levels, maintenance activities, and any incidents or accidents
  • Ordering necessary pool supplies and equipment
  • Maintaining pool facilities, including chemicals, equipment, and supplies
  • Scheduling repairs and upkeep of the pool facility to ensure proper working order
  • Supervising the work performance of all staff
  • Performing administrative tasks such as maintaining records of attendance
