About the opportunity Mercy Hospital for Women Heidelberg is seeking passionate Midwives to join our supportive Maternity team. We have Permanent Full-time and Part-time opportunities in specialty areas We provide a friendly, collaborative culture where you can build you midwifery experience working across the spectrum of maternity care. Our specialist units include Postnatal / Antenatal wards, Birth Suites, Fetal Monitoring Unit, Maternity Group Practice and Emergency Department, Gynaecology/ Oncology Ward, Special Care Nursery and Domiciliary / Hospital in the Home. You will join a multidisciplinary team providing best practice patient care as a as a permanent staff member. What you’ll bring You’re resilient, compassionate and have a whole lot of heart. Most importantly, you are committed to delivering exceptional patient-centred care. To thrive in this role, you will have: Registration as a Midwife with AHPRA A minimum 12 months experience as a Registered Midwife in an Australian hospital setting Passionate about woman-centred care and working as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining: A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check. Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
