DESCRIPTION

Job Overview:
The Pool Monitor will monitor monitor the adherence to the pool rules by all homeowners and their guests who visit the Park Place Facility to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
Compensation: $17.50-18.50/hour
FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage paid to the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities. For positions designated at a client’s property, the salary or wage will also be premised upon the client’s directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Job Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • To be visible and accessible at all times throughout the shift.
  • To provide a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for the Park Place residents and their guests.
  • To know and fully understand ALL rules associated with the Park Place Pools and Spa.
  • To oversee the behavior of all residents and guests making sure the behavior is within the guidelines set forth in the Pool Rules.
  • To inform residents & guests of essential rules that they may have overlooked or violated in a forthright and agreeable manner.
  • To ensure all areas associated with pool usage are safe.
  • Arrange and maintain all pool furniture during the course of each shift.
  • Verify member access cards and enforce guest limit.
  • Completes accident/incident forms for all incidents in a timely manner when required.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must be able to interact and present themselves respectfully and firmly when enforcing the associations guidelines with members.
  • Cooperate and communicate with co-workers effectively
  • Work well in a group/team environment
  • Can adapt well to change on an as needed basis

  • Ability to work variable shifts.
  • Ability to come into contact with water and pool chemicals.

  • Ability to lift peddle boats or kayaks with the assistance of another staff member or a kayak trolley
