POSITION SUMMARY

At The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort, we are committed to empowering the well-being of our guests and providing exceptional service across all guest experiences—from dining to recreation. This combined role encompasses leadership in both Food & Beverage operations and Pool area supervision, ensuring seamless service, guest safety, and operational excellence.

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Relevant hospitality/restaurant and/or recreation supervision experience required.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership role strongly preferred.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong supervisory, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and guest service best practices.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local labor, safety, and employment laws.
  • Able to maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Adhere to the Westin Brand Style Guide.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors.
  • Ability to walk, stand, and exert well-paced mobility for extended periods.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, stretch, and lift up to 45 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

FOOD & BEVERAGE RELATED RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work side-by-side with Outlet Managers to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality service to recreation outlets.
  • Engage directly with guests, demonstrating strong service skills and a vibrant, welcoming personality.
  • Oversee department preparation and organization, including monitoring food and beverage stock.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Motivate and lead team members to exceed guest expectations.
  • Collaborate with management to address guest concerns and enhance service delivery.

POOL SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Always maintain complete safety around pool areas.
  • Monitor staff performance to ensure operational standards are met.
  • Review flash reports and manage costs effectively.
  • Maintain proper inventory levels for poolside services and amenities.
  • Assist in retail sales (if applicable).
  • Conduct and assist with guest activities in pool areas.
  • Monitor the cleanliness and sanitation of the pool area.
  • Enforce hotel safety standards and support guest service initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties or projects as assigned by the Pool Ops Manager or F&B Director.
