GENERAL SUMMARY:

Master Pools Alta Ltd. specializes in the design and construction of commercial and municipal aquatic facilities. Working throughout Western Canada, we partner with General Contractors to build the largest swimming pool structures and mechanical systems.
We strive to provide the timely, knowledgeable, and well-coordinated installation and commissioning of water circulation, filtration, and chemical treatment systems. Aquatics construction presents unique challenges and unique opportunities. Our team combines the skills of plumbers, carpenters, engineering technicians, and general construction experience.
Previous aquatics experience is not necessary. Collectively we strive to complete high quality work in a safe, efficient, well co-ordinated, and accountable manner. We are now adding to this team!
Training regarding specific swimming pool related equipment and processes will be provided by Master Pools as necessary

Responsibilities

Working under a site foreman in construction of PVC mechanical systems within the mechanical rooms and
Plumbing of large diameter PVC pipe as well as small diameter pipe and tubing relating to the water chemistry system, alone or as part of a plumbing
Installation of circulation, filtration, and chemical treatment
Assistance with pool tank and pool finishes installation where required (i.e. installation of accessories such as diving boards, handrails, and
Observe + learn safe work procedures and practices, as well as all site safety
Observe project schedules and foreman
Comport themselves professionally in a commercial jobsite
Become familiar with interpreting engineered schematics, manufacturer O+M manuals, and installation instructions to identify key equipment installation
Learn observation of local codes to ensure compliance along with appropriate CSA, NSF and UL standard
Our market is quite large, and we work all over western Canada in large cities and smaller municipalities. Travel will be a requirement as job locations demand.
