JOB SUMMARY:  The Pool Experience Attendant is a key part of delivering an exceptional guest experience at the resort pool. This role is responsible for warmly welcoming guests, assisting with lounge seating and towels, maintaining the presentation of the pool deck, and ensuring every guest feels comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for throughout their time at the pool. As a visible and engaging presence on the pool deck, the Pool Experience Attendant anticipates guest needs, provides attentive service, supports food and beverage service, and helps create a welcoming and well-maintained environment. This position plays an important role in creating memorable moments and enhancing the overall resort experience. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Warmly welcome guests to the pool area and assist them in finding comfortable seating. * Assist guests with setting up lounge chairs, umbrellas, and poolside seating. * Provide fresh towels and ensure towel service is maintained throughout the day. * Maintain the organization and presentation of lounge chairs, umbrellas, and cabanas. * Offer menus and assist guests with food and beverage orders when requested. * Deliver food and beverages promptly and ensure orders are accurate and presented properly. * Check in with guests regularly to ensure they are comfortable and enjoying their experience. * Anticipate guest needs by offering additional towels, refilling beverages, clearing service items, or adjusting seating arrangements. * Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming pool environment by keeping the pool deck, tables, and seating areas organized and free of debris. * Reset lounge chairs and service areas as guests depart. * Ensure service items such as napkins, glassware, and menus are stocked and available. * Work collaboratively with the Food & Beverage team, kitchen staff, bartenders, and other departments to ensure seamless service. * Follow proper procedures for entering and processing orders using the POS system when applicable.\ * Maintain awareness of pool safety standards and report any concerns or incidents to management. * Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests or concerns. * Assist with restocking pool service areas and maintaining inventory as needed. * Support the training of new team members when needed. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training preferred. * Previous experience in hospitality, food and beverage service, or resort operations preferred. * Strong guest service mindset and ability to create welcoming guest interactions. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outdoor environment. * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods. * Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions including sun and heat. * Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. * Valid Alcohol Awareness Certification (per state regulations). * Valid Food Handler Certification (per state regulations). PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry objects weighing up to 25 regularly. * Continuous standing and walking, with frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. * Ability to work outdoors in various climates and in, around, or near water. * Ability to handle food, beverages, and utensils safely, as well as manipulate cleaning equipment. * Clear vision and hearing to monitor safety, identify hazards, and communicate effectively.
