Description Job Description The Pool Server provides exceptional service to guests enjoying our pool area, ensuring a welcoming, comfortable, and relaxed environment. This role is essential in delivering food and beverage service efficiently and professionally while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. The Pool Server contributes to creating memorable guest experiences in an outdoor luxury setting. Key Responsibilities Guest Service & Operations Take food and beverage orders from guests in a friendly, professional, and timely manner. Deliver food and drinks accurately while ensuring presentation meets Palm House standards. Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, requests, and special needs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area, including tables, seating, and service stations. Assist with setup and breakdown for poolside events or private functions as needed. Team Collaboration Work closely with culinary and beverage teams to ensure smooth service and proper handling of guest orders. Communicate effectively with fellow servers and management regarding guest preferences, inventory, or operational issues. Support a positive and professional team environment, promoting cooperation and high morale among staff. Safety & Compliance Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards applicable to outdoor dining and beverage service. Ensure compliance with pool area safety rules and hotel policies to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff. Qualifications & Experience Previous serving experience preferred, ideally in a luxury hotel, resort, or high-volume outdoor dining setting. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, outdoor environment while maintaining attention to detail. Professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and move continuously during long shifts. Capable of lifting, carrying, and serving items up to 25 pounds. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, including sun and heat. Ability to respond quickly and safely to guest needs and poolside incidents.
