Job Details Job Location: Evergreens- Brewster East - Topeka, KS 66611 Position Type: Part Time Job Shift: Day Position Purpose The Pool Technician maintains the cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency of swimming pool facilities through regular inspections, cleaning, water testing, and chemical treatment. This role supports compliance with health codes and organizational standards while helping ensure a safe and welcoming aquatic environment for residents, Brewster Connect members and staff. Key Responsibilities/Duties Remove debris, brush surfaces, and maintain water chemistry by skimming, vacuuming floors/walls, testing/balancing chemicals (pH, chlorine, alkalinity), cleaning filters, and inspecting equipment like pumps and heaters, ensuring the pool is safe, sanitary, and ready for use. Clean and maintain swimming pool surfaces, decks, and surrounding areas to ensure a safe and sanitary environment. Inspect pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chemical feeders to ensure proper operation. Safely handle, store, and dispose of pool chemicals in accordance with regulations and manufacturer guidelines. The most significant duties have been included in this description.
