Description

The post-holder will be part of the Data, Business Intelligence and Population Health Intelligence team within the Humber and North Yorkshire ICB and is to cover the North Yorkshire footprint. The intelligence team is responsible for the provision of a comprehensive Data, Business Intelligence and Population Health Intelligence and analytical service to support the organisation to understand itself, health services delivered within the wider system, and the needs of the population. The role involves the use of complex information systems and associated datasets, being capable of processing large volumes of patient-based and summary health data to improve health, with a focus on supporting population health intelligence, strategic planning and performance improvement for the Integrated Care Board and key system partners. The Population Health Analyst will be responsible for delivering insight into services run within the Integrated Care System (ICS), allowing for a greater level of intelligence-led decision-making for the North Yorkshire Population Health Hub.
The role involves understanding and delivering analysis for Population Health Management, supporting the Associate Director for Population Health Intelligence Specialist and the Strategic Lead, Population Health and Inequalities to work with organisations to help them to understand their data, collaborating with analytical and operational teams within North Yorkshire place for the purpose of improving health outcomes and service delivery. Core Responsibilities Include: Working collaboratively with the AD for Population Health Intelligence, Strategic Lead, Population Health and Inequalities and key business partners to understand the problems which data is needed to solve, and to support effective use of analytical outputs and intelligence to help inform decision making for the North Yorkshire Population Health Hub. Coordination and delivery of analytical solutions, from self-serve reporting to in-depth analysis allowing for a greater understanding of services. Ensuring a high level of information governance and confidentiality is always in mind in the creation of reporting
