The Portfolio Sales Manager is responsible for driving exhibitor revenue across a portfolio of events, ensuring budgets are met or exceeded through strategic sales, forecasting and individual and team pipeline management. The role oversees exhibitor acquisition, account management and team leadership to deliver financial success and world class events.
Key responsibilities will include
Own and deliver the commercial sales strategy across the portfolio of events in collaboration with the GM Event & Partnerships and Head of Events.
Develop and manage individual and team sales targets to meet and exceed revenue goals.
Oversee pricing strategy and value proposition for exhibition space, activations and experiential sales.
Work collaboratively with the GM Events & Partnerships on partnership opportunities.
Strong focus on business development including face to face meetings, attending competitor events, networking functions.
Track, analyse and report on sales performance weekly, adjusting tactics to close any gaps.
Pipeline management and business development – build and manage a sales pipeline with the team across all events to ensure accurate forecasting.
Identifying and securing new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, partnerships and referrals.
Managing high-value key accounts and grow long-term relationships.
