Carnival Corporation & plc is excited to announce: We are hiring a Port Administrator to join our Port Operations Team. This full-time permanent position will be based in the Chatswood, Sydney and report directly to the Senior Director, Port Operations. In this role, you will focus on the day-to-day management of our E-Commerce Application while driving improvements through system enhancements, reporting and data analysis. You’ll play a key role in maximising operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Day to day management of the E-Commerce Application (MXP) and creation of various reports relating to budgets and invoices
  • Process all Port Operations and Guest Port Services Invoices and act as a first point of contact for all port partners relating to payment enquiries
  • Planning and organisation of updates to port tariffs and expenses relating to changes in voyage deployment
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and projects such as vendor contract renewal schedules and updating of vendor information
  • Collaborating closely with a small, fast-paced team and assisting with port booking admin as required

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE DEMONSTRATED:

  • 2-3 years business administration experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Ability to manage competing priorities with minimal supervision
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Strong communication skills, with confidence to liaise across departments and vendors
  • Experience in analysing and resolving issues independently
  • Experience in travel, maritime, or port operations
  • Exposure to E-Commerce systems (desirable)
