YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • Diploma of Business (Logistics Management) or equivalent (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong background in logistics and multi-mode transport operations
  • Proven experience in leading and developing teams, with sound business and personnel management abilities
  • Previous experience in Defence and/or EO supply chain would be highly advantageous
Responsibilities

Are you an experienced operations or logistics leader with a passion for safety, team development, and compliance? We are seeking a proactive and skilled Site Manager to oversee our Point Wilson facility. In this critical role, you’ll manage daily site operations, ensure rigorous safety and security standards, and lead a dedicated team, all while supporting the growth and operational excellence of the site.

  • Operate and manage the Point Wilson facility
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the site team to ensure effective resource allocation and operational success
  • Foster strong working relationships with internal teams, customers, government agencies, and service providers
  • Oversee and maintain security, quality, safety, and environmental compliance
  • Manage operational support (wharf shipping, storage, distribution, and maintenance) and ensure depot preparedness for emergencies
  • Develop and maintain workforce capability and succession planning to meet site needs
  • Administer local recruitment, staff development, and performance management processes
  • Provide up-to-date information to management on revenue opportunities, customer needs, market changes, and compliance matters
  • Maintain documentation, process improvements, system design, and quality standards as part of ongoing business improvement
