Waste Connections is seeking a safety-minded Portable Toilet Driver to join our team in Nashville, TN! NO CDL REQUIRED (CDL Preferred) Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour About the Role: We provide trash and disposal services along with Portable Toilet solutions to the local community. As a key team member, you will safely operate our Pump Truck to service portable toilets in neighborhoods, construction sites, and special event locations, delivering top-notch service. Your responsibilities will include: Safely operating the Pumper truck in various locations Reading route sheets and servicing each customer as assigned Performing daily pre and post-trip inspections Handling physically demanding tasks, including lifting, pulling, and bending Operating hydraulic hand controls to lift/load refuse and dispose of trash Interacting courteously with customers Performing other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Work Environment: This role involves working with personal refuse year-round, in all weather conditions. Be prepared for: Extensive physical activity, including constant vehicle entry/exit, scrubbing toilet units, and operating the pumper Moderate noise levels and exposure to moving mechanical parts, requiring basic safety precautions Awareness of surrounding hazards and changing situations (construction sites, parking lots, large crowds) Exposure to various weather conditions, fumes, and vibrations Minimum Job Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old with a satisfactory driving record Valid Driver’s License Clean MVR Comfortable with physical labor Waste Connections is an equal opportunity employer. Responsibilities
The driver will safely operate a Pump Truck to service portable toilets at various locations, including neighborhoods and construction sites, while reading route sheets and servicing customers as assigned. Responsibilities also include performing daily inspections, handling physically demanding tasks, and operating hydraulic controls to manage refuse disposal.
