Job Overview: The Automotive Porter plays a vital role in maintaining the overall cleanliness and organization of the dealership lot, ensuring an optimal experience for both customers and staff. This position involves handling various tasks related to vehicle management, lot maintenance, and providing support to different departments within the dealership.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

  • Vehicle Preparation: Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for display or delivery.

  • Collaboration with Sales Team: Work closely with the sales team to ensure vehicles are ready for test drives and meet customer expectations.
  • Maintenance Assistance: Support the service department by moving vehicles to and from the service area and providing assistance as needed.
