Description JOB SUMMARY: Cleans interior of casino, including restrooms and diner; cleans diner and bar mats; cleans slot ma-chines; empties trash; cleans floors; vacuums carpets; cleans mirrors and entry doors; keeps exterior free of trash; empties exterior trashcans and ashtrays and refills all necessary products. Assist cocktail servers with picking up empty drinks and bottles and cleaning ashtrays. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: A review of this description has excluded the marginal functions of this job which are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. This document does not create an employment contract, implied or otherwise, other than an “at will” employment relationship. THE FOLLOWING IS A LIST OF TOTAL DUTIES. YOUR DUTIES WILL BE ASSIGNED TO YOU BY EITHER THE PORTER MANAGER; THE CSM; OR THE LEAD PORTER. Check casino bathrooms hourly – mop floors; wipe down stalls; clean toilets; clean sinks; clean mirrors; check and refill all supplies (soap, towels, toilet paper, toilet seat covers). Remove any trash; wipe down walls; flush all toilets once per hour. Clean employee bathrooms once per shift (see above for requirements). Clean all casino entry doors and remove any trash. Empty all trash receptacles. Empty ciga-rette receptacles. Wipe down all receptacles. Pick up and empty trash in employee smoking area. (Employees are expected to NOT throw their cigarette butts on the ground, if this is happening – let CSM know.) Thoroughly clean customer area and employee area of the diner during designated times. Clean mats in both the diner and the bars. Clean floor drains. Clean all pictures and posters once per shift and/or as needed. Clean ashtrays and wipe down slot machines. Throw away bottles and cups. Wipe down sports book counters, tables, and lounge tables at back bar. Clean offices – empty trash; vacuum twice per week. Vacuum stairs and break room everyday. Clean casino mirrors twice weekly. Check parking lot and sidewalks for trash. Pick up and dispose of trash. Check exterior more frequently on windy days and during weekends. Clean brass foot rails around the bars. Wipe down bases of 21 tables. Wipe down slot ma-chine bases. Clean exit signs. Clean TV screens. Pressure wash building’s exterior; sidewalks; and trash receptacles. All other duties as assigned/requested by Supervisor. Requirements QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactori-ly. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Mathematical Skills: Ability to utilize simple calculations in regards to cleaning products. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and mainte-nance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Responsibilities

The primary duties involve thoroughly cleaning the casino interior, including restrooms, diner areas, slot machines, floors, and emptying all trash receptacles both inside and outside. This role also requires assisting cocktail servers by clearing empty drinks and bottles and cleaning ashtrays.
