The Role | Te mahi As a Porter at Hind Management, your primary responsibility will be to provide outstanding service to our guests upon arrival and departure. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a seamless experience for each visitor. This is a rewarding opportunity for those who enjoy a dynamic work environment and wish to be part of a dedicated team. You’ll engage with guests directly, assist with luggage, and ensure all areas are kept tidy and organized. This part time role (minimum 10 hours per week) with the pay of $26 per hour. Requiring flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Key Responsibilities | Ngā haepapa Assist in the arrival and departure of guests, including handling luggage and providing information about the hotel services. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby and front entrance. Communicate with the Front Desk to ensure smooth guest check-in/check-out processes. Ensure luggage is stored securely and logged appropriately. Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests for assistance. Conduct routine checks on public areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation. Assist with any emergencies or urgent situations as needed. About You | Ko koe tenei Previous experience in a similar role or in customer service/hospitality preferred. Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays. Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor. A proactive attitude and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Physical capability to lift and carry luggage as required. Full driver's license is desirable. Right to work in New Zealand.
