Position Overview We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist / Porter to support our production team in Schaumburg. This role focuses on organizing parts inventory, maintaining shop cleanliness, and assisting with vehicle care throughout the repair process. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in organization, and wants to grow within the collision repair industry. Key Responsibilities · Organize and maintain parts inventory for active repair jobs (no parts ordering required). · Label, stage, and ensure parts are properly matched to vehicles. · Assist technicians by keeping work areas clean and organized. · Help clean vehicles before and after repairs as needed. · Move vehicles safely throughout the shop and parking areas. · Dispose of packaging and maintain overall shop cleanliness. · Support production flow by ensuring parts and vehicles are ready when needed. · Follow all safety procedures and company standards. · Previous automotive, porter, or shop experience preferred but not required. · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. · Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment. · Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. · Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods. · Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude. · Willingness to learn and grow within the company. · Full-time, stable employment. · Competitive pay based on experience. · On-the-job training and support. · Opportunity for advancement within the collision repair industry. · Supportive team environment in a well-established repair facility.
