We are currently looking for a Porter to join our growing team of amazing individuals. Essential Functions for the Porter Position: Take responsibility for the appearance and functionality of the facility. Emptying and removing waste from waste baskets as needed and directed. Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Sweep and mop floors, vacuum and clean carpets. Clean and replenish supplies in restrooms. Assist with exterior maintenance (snow removal, picking up waste, etc.). Transport tools and materials between sites or departments. Provide light maintenance as needed or contact maintenance department to assist with maintenance needs. All other duties as assigned. Requirements for the Porter Position: Possess outstanding customer service skills and can-do attitude. High School Diploma/GED required. 1+ years of day porter, janitorial, or other related experience preferred. Basic computer knowledge, including ability to use email and work order systems. Must have the ability to complete required safety classes. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be able to pass drug test and FBI/BCI background checks. Must be able to pass sanctions checks for working in health care facilities.
