In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our facilities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and operational excellence across various settings, including commercial, industrial, and residential spaces. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to maintain a pristine environment. Conduct janitorial duties including restroom sanitation, floor care, window cleaning, and surface disinfecting. Operate custodial equipment such as buffers and floor polishers to ensure floors are well-maintained and visually appealing. Carry out general facilities maintenance including light repairs, painting touch-ups, and ensuring all areas meet safety standards. Support industrial cleaning projects by managing heavy-duty cleaning tasks in warehouses or manufacturing areas. Assist with porter duties such as moving supplies, setting up for events, and maintaining common areas tidy. Follow safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations. Requirements Proven janitorial or custodial experience with a strong understanding of commercial or industrial cleaning procedures. Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and waxing floors. Experience in residential painting or general facilities maintenance is a plus. Ability to operate custodial equipment safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods. Reliable team player with good communication skills and a proactive attitude toward maintaining a clean and safe environment.
