Compensation: $16–$17/hour

Perla’s Pizza is a neighborhood pizzeria in Winter Park dedicated to serving high-quality pizza and warm hospitality. We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Porter to join our team and help keep our kitchen and facilities running smoothly.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Porter is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, dish area, and restaurant facilities. This role is essential to ensuring our team can deliver excellent food and service in a safe and sanitary environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous porter, dishwasher, or kitchen experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, prep areas, and restrooms
• Take out trash and recycling, ensuring proper disposal procedures
• Sweep and mop floors regularly to maintain a safe work environment
• Assist with deliveries and stocking supplies
• Support kitchen staff with basic prep or cleaning tasks as needed
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
