Job Summary: As Portfolio Data Analyst (Accounting), you will be responsible for leading the successful integration of clients’ portfolio data into the Portfolio accounting system (PAS) that underpins Engage, with the focus on administration and accounting systems such as Class. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of investment portfolio data and accounting methodologies, a motivation to work on data problems, and a drive to deliver results with project deadlines while meeting high quality standards. You are passionate about understanding our clients’ needs, take a hands-on approach to solving problems, work collaboratively with internal teams. Responsibilities: Product & Integration Delivery: Support the Product Manager in delivering complex PAS data integrations, including product design collaboration, defining and validating transformation logic, and overseeing data validation, reconciliation, and migration into the PAS universal format. Data Governance & Quality: Ensure data integrity, accuracy, timeliness, and completeness, contributing to monitoring, alerting, and tooling that supports efficient troubleshooting for customers and support teams. Stakeholder & Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with customers, SMEs, technical leads, Business Analysts, QA, and Operations to align on requirements, support user story development, perform UAT, and act as an SME on Class and other PAS integrations. Hands‑on Delivery & Issue Management: Embed with development teams to identify and resolve data transformation and mapping issues, drive triage and root‑cause analysis, and support incident management through to resolution. Compliance & Security: Ensure adherence to internal and external data, security, and IT governance standards, including secure access and role‑based permissions for reporting tools. Requirements: 5+ years’ working in Financial Services & Technology, with expertise in portfolio accounting and reporting. Hands-on experience integrating Class or equivalent systems’ portfolio accounting data into downstream platforms (e.g., mapping/transformations, validation rules, reconciliations, and exception management) Financial services industry domain expertise: Strong knowledge of marketable securities (Shares, bonds, options, managed funds) and alternative assets (Private equity, hedge funds). Strong understanding of investment data, including corporate actions, security pricing, income processing, and reconciliations. Proficiency in performance calculation methodologies and the impact of data integrity on accurate portfolio reporting. Experience working with advisers, accountants, and clients, resulting in an understanding of their reporting needs and workflows and therefore the underlying data requirements. Excellent communicator with influencing skills across business and technology teams High attention to detail and ability to prioritise multiple pieces of work effectively. Strong technical knowledge on data technologies particularly using SQL or Python within Databricks to analyse and validate transformation logic The Recruitment Process Acknowledgement email once your application has been submitted.
