Company Description As a Portfolio Financial Controller, you will oversee Finance for the following hotels: Novotel Melbourne South Wharf features golden 26 level tower with 347 accommodation rooms & suites, Mr. Carpano Dining and Bar and Allora Café. The hotel is complemented with direct access to the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre (MCEC), the Southern Hemisphere's largest meeting space and adjacent to the DFO centre, with 180+ retail brands. Ibis Melbourne Glen Waverley is situated 25 minutes east of Melbourne CBD and it offers 155 rooms, Ibis Kitchen & Bar, and 4 flexible meeting rooms catering from 4 delegates up to 120 delegates. Our hotel is the gateway to the magnificent Dandenong Ranges, Yarra Valley Food & Wine District, the Mornington Peninsula and Phillip Island. Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Portfolio Financial Controller to join our finance team. As a Portfolio Financial Controller, you will play a key role in overseeing the financial health of our diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic financial guidance to support decision-making. Keys duties include, but are not limited to the following: Provide financial leadership and oversee all facets of finance for three properties Ensure timely and accurate production of financial reports, data and P&L Complete Monthly forecasts and annual budgets Develop and implement effective strategies to enhance the profitability Deal with Management Agreements and Owners representatives Qualifications You are a strategic thinker with proven experience in financial management Strong knowledge of relevant legislation for payroll, tax, superannuation, long service leave and compliance Proficiency with all Microsoft programs, SUN system and Opera A leadership style that is authentic and engaging Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills To be success in this role, you must have rights to work for any employee in Australia.
