JOB SUMMARY

Our Portfolio Management Office (PMO) is seeking talented PMO Analysts to join our dynamic team. As an integral part of our independent corporate change governance group, you will play a crucial role in prioritising, directing, and supporting transformational change projects and processes within COPFS.
COPFS is current embarking on a number of ambitious transformation projects, which collectively seek the continued modernise of the service for the people of Scotland. These projects are national in scope and seek to support our staff to improve services for victims and families as they seek justice in Scotland.
You will work across some of our high-profile national enterprise level projects, which includes COPFS Body Worn Video (BWV) Project, as it aligns to Police Scotland’s national BWV roll out and other projects supporting significant national change to our service delivery across Scotland.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Portfolio Management Office (PMO) is an independent
corporate change governance group that prioritises, directs
and supports all current and future COPFS transformational
programmes and projects.
As a PMO Analyst you will directly supporting the PMO senior
management and project delivery team including coordination,
planning, control, reporting, analysis and insights. Supporting
the PMO Manager in the delivery of PMO initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Provide PMO support including, for example,
maintaining Portfolio schedules and plans; financial
monitoring; decision support; benefit tracking;
maintaining & reviewing RAID and change registers,
dependency management and resource
utilisation/capacity management
• Support project teams to apply consistent standards,
tools and templates across the portfolio in support of
PMO frameworks and objectives
• Support the development of business cases, project
initiation documents and governance artefacts
• Create, monitor and report on portfolio performance
ensuring timely challenge and escalation where
needed
• Maintain and improve PMO documentation,
dashboards and reporting tools to ensure transparency
and accountability
• Ensure compliance with frameworks and provide
strategic assurance on portfolio health and delivery
confidence
• Provide education and support on the application of
project reporting, processes, procedures and tools
• Promote knowledge sharing and lessons learned
across programmes to drive continuous improvement
