Responsibilities:
ABOUT YOUR FUTURE ROLE
Project Portfolio Specialist, based in Milan, ensures effective governance processes, financial accuracy, and transparent reporting in alignment with Nexi’s Product Governance and Delivery (PGD) framework. This role involves facilitating governance activities, managing budgets and financial processes, overseeing purchase orders and invoices, and refine reporting and documentation practices to meet audit and compliance standards. You will report to the Portfolio Governance Manager, and act as a key collaborator, coordinating across diverse teams to drive alignment with governance and financial objectives.
Your key responsibilities in this role will be :
Governance Oversight
- Facilitate and document governance processes as defined by the Nexi Financial Gate framework.
- Co-manage Regional Product Boards, Monthly Business Reviews, and other reporting requirements with PowerPoint pack preparation, stakeholder alignment, meeting actions and decision documentation.
- Collaborate on the development and rollout of modifications to the PGD framework, ensuring alignment with Nexi MS Product Governance processes.
- Support New Product Approval Process to align with any Regional Compliance requirements.
Financial Management
- Manage and coordinate input to business cases from input to approval, ensuring financial accuracy and alignment.
- Manage the input/output process flow of budgets, releases, and actuals into Power BI, ServiceNow, Excel and other reporting tools.
- Oversee purchase order creation, tracking, and reconciliation to ensure timely payments.
- Manage invoice processes, including verification, approvals, and compliance with Nexi financial policies.
- Develop an understanding of initiative financial business cases to perform final reviews before approval.
Reporting and Documentation
- Co-manage Power BI reporting for Boards and SteerCos.
- Refine reporting and documentation processes to enhance efficiency and transparency for Stakeholders as required.
- Retain documentation and decisions for audit and compliance purposes.
Collaboration and Coordination
- Serve as a bridge between regional and group portfolio teams, product teams, delivery managers, value stream leads, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with teams across Nexi, including MS Product, eCom, IS, Group Marketing, Country Sales, Customer Operations, Finance, Treasury, and Compliance.
- Define and update processes for SharePoint and Product Library with PGD Regional Delivery Managers.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:
- Strong understanding of financial governance and reporting processes.
- Experience managing budgets, purchase orders, and invoice tracking.
- Proficiency in reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint) and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on audit compliance and documentation retention.
- Flexible attitude in a fast-changing environment.
Additional skills and experience that would make you stand out:
Knowledge of governance frameworks and product delivery processes is a plus.
