Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • You hold a certificate or diploma in administration, business, or project support
  • You bring experience in a similar administrative or coordination role, ideally within public sector or ICT portfolio environment.
  • Experience in/ understanding of project administration including scheduling, financials, and milestone reporting
  • You are proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, with experience in SharePoint or Project Online
  • Understanding of generative AI tools and ability to incorporate their use into everyday tasks
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly organised Portfolio Officer to support the coordination and administration of ICT portfolio governance and reporting processes. In this role, you will assist with the planning and delivery of governance activities, providing secretariat support for project control boards and technology governance committees, and assist in the preparation of reports and briefing materials.
You will also play an important role in maintaining accurate data and information to support effective portfolio planning. This role will contribute to the successful delivery of technology-enabled initiatives that support outcomes across the Victorian K-12 education system.
