Description
This is a 12-month contract opportunity.   As a Portfolio Specialist, you will work across the business to identify opportunities, support strategic initiatives, and drive improvements that deliver value for both customers and the business.   What you’ll do: * Partner with business stakeholders to identify challenges, opportunities, and areas for improvement across the portfolio. * Analyse data and performance trends to provide meaningful insights and recommendations that support strategic decision-making. * Support the development and execution of portfolio strategies, business plans, and key initiatives. * Take ownership of continuous improvement opportunities, helping to simplify processes, improve outcomes, and manage risk. * Collaborate with delivery teams, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, assess solution viability, and support successful implementation. * Conduct research to identify opportunities that enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and business performance. * Contribute to the ongoing uplift of data maturity, and decision-making across the business.   What you’ll bring: * Experience in a portfolio analysis, business analysis, project delivery, or similar role within the general insurance environment. * Demonstrated experience using data and insights to influence decision-making and improve business performance. * Experience managing and delivering multiple initiatives, projects, or continuous improvement activities. * Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of an organisation. * Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and a proactive approach to problem solving.   * Strong commercial acumen and a desire to drive meaningful business outcomes.   About Suncorp New Zealand: We’re proud to be a part of the Suncorp Group family alongside some of Australia and New Zealand’s most trusted names in insurance – working together to bring about faster, simpler and better outcomes for our customers and corporate partners.
