Lead/support strategic deep dive studies and Lifecycle Strategies in the FAR collectively with Chief Strategists - explore white-space innovation opportunities; Ensure robust business case development of Global Cycle Plan actions for senior leadership reviews and approval Lead/support development of compelling product proposition to meet customer expectations; Lead/support identification of the Winning Aspiration and profitability objective; Translate customer priorities into actionable items; Support customer research events as required Lead/support definition of FAR Product Portfolio business strategy grounded in design thinking using strategic choice cascades - Drive ecosystem business model development Champion team culture and people development Established and active employee resource groups BSc, Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial) or Business degree (BS, BBA, etc) are required 10+ years' experience in Automotive Mfg Engineering Strong critical thinking skills; must be able to proactively identify problems and develop solutions Project management skills needed; must be able to break down large, complicated projects into smaller, more manageable tasks, estimate the time required for each task and identify the dependencies of said tasks to define the critical path of any project Adept at using data, logic and emotion to persuade others to adopt their point of view Robust interpersonal skills are necessary as this role requires substantial ‘informal leadership' Strong Business Acumen & Strategic Planning/Thinking with a Global / Enterprise mindset; willingness to challenge past norms to define future success Strong desire to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
