Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Comprehensive review of collateral and all property elements. * Ensure portfolio and investor compliance. * Ensure credit policy and procedures are followed. * Generate self employed income through tax return analysis. * Clearly document underwriting decision. * Prepare customer commitments to be issued detailing additional conditions. Qualifications Required Skills: * Demonstrated strong knowledge of underwriting self employed individuals. * Demonstrate full knowledge of collateral and appraisal understanding and have experience with unique properties. * Full knowledge of condominiums and cooperative lending. * Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. * Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations. * May be required to lift loan files up to 10 pounds. Required Experience: * High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of five years non-conforming/portfolio underwriting experience. * Associate's Degree preferred.
