Job Description We are looking Porting Team Manager to join our Sydney team. Reporting to Operations Project and Network Expansion Team Manager, the Porting Team Manager is responsible for developing a framework for the effective management of the LNP porting processes for Symbio in conjunction with the General Manager, Operations - CPaaS, other operational managers, and stakeholders across other BUs to drive high performance and meet the expectations of our customers. This role will lead the global Porting team and develop them into an industry leading support and assistance centre for our high value customers. You will develop centres of excellence in porting so that Symbio stands ready to add value to our customer relationships in all interactions that we have with them. What you'll do as a Porting Team Manager: Enhance customer experience by ensuring efficient, transparent, and reliable porting processes. Reduce escalations and operational inefficiencies through consistent frameworks and process improvements. Strengthen relationships with high-value customers by adding measurable value at every interaction. Position Symbio as a market leader in porting, creating a competitive advantage and supporting long-term growth. Qualifications What you'll need to succeed: Tertiary education in a related field Minimum 3+ years of Telecommunications and/or IT Operational management experience 3+ years’ experience with the porting process defined in the LNP code and understanding of Domestic and International local number porting, this includes Acronyms, Definitions, LNP file transfer process and timeframes Enhanced Product and industry knowledge Understanding of the development and delivery of post implementation controls Experience in presentation and running workshops An understanding of workforce management practices An understanding of ITIL framework An understanding of Call Centre and Operational team performance metrics including Customer Experience measures will be an added advantage What's it like to work here?
