In this role, you will design and implement targeted intervention plans that support measurable student progress while maintaining accurate, confidential documentation, including IEPs and therapy notes. You will deliver engaging, student-centered therapy across a range of speech and language areas and conduct assessments to identify communication needs and guide individualized treatment planning. Collaboration is central to this position, as you will work closely with teachers, related service providers, and administrators, participate in IEP meetings, and support the integration of speech and language strategies into classroom instruction. Additionally, you will partner with educators and families by providing practical tools and guidance to help reinforce communication skills beyond therapy sessions. Requirements Qualified candidates must hold a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and possess, or be eligible to obtain, a valid Virginia Department of Health Speech-Language Pathology license. ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred, though Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply. Applicants should also demonstrate a working knowledge of school-based therapy practices and special education procedures, along with strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
