You will support and develop the skills and potential of your team and contribute to progression of the regional business plan and achievement of the strategic goals. The Ranger in Charge is responsible for a small team of dedicated and highly competent individuals who focus on the management of a diverse range of reserves in the region. This area ranges from Swansea to Marion Bay, Whiteford to Nugent. You will work with a range of stakeholders and be embedded into the community, overseeing the management of coastal, off-shore island, forested and marine reserves, including Maria Island National Park and the Darlington Convict World Heritage Area. The Triabunna-Maria Field Centre is a special place with something for everyone! HOURS PER FORTNIGHT 73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation). ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS * A Diploma in Conservation and Land Management or other qualifications deemed equivalent. * A minimum of five years’ experience in reserve management or equivalent experience. * A Workplace Level 2 First Aid Certificate.
