HOURS PER FORTNIGHT 73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.  DUTIES * To act as Solicitor in routine, complex criminal matters and other litigation on behalf of the State of Tasmania, its instrumentalities and Agencies before the Court of Criminal Appeal, Supreme Court, Magistrates Court and Tribunals. * To provide high level advice to the Director and Deputy Director as requested in respect to criminal and other related matters. * Provide professional supervision and instruction to junior legal practitioners, including allocating and supervising professional legal work. * To participate in performance management and file reviews as directed by the Director of Public Prosecutions. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS * Admitted or eligible for admission as a Barrister or Practitioner of the Supreme Court of Tasmania. * Drivers licence.
