You will be part of a team that values integrity, respect, and innovation in everything we do. The Role: Assist the Coordinator in the delivery of tasks to support the centre-based respite programs. This includes, but is not limited to, assisting with personal care for consumers, catering, domestic duties and the delivery of diversional therapy activities. You will need: * Demonstrated practical experience in working with frail aged and disabled within rural and remote communities. * Ability to work with individuals and groups, assist clients with personal care, and to encourage participation and improve quality of life through selected activities. * Practical knowledge of craft and leisure activities and the ability to develop programs which support improved quality of life for consumers. * Assist with transport of centre-based respite consumers. Details of appointment: Fixed term part time, day worker position, working 30.4 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for a period of 6 months. *Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
