Our mission is to equip staff with the knowledge, tools, and techniques to perform tasks with maximum safety, efficiency and capacity, both at work and home. The Role: Act as the regional lead (north) for safe manual handling across the Department of Health (DoH) by providing expert guidance, influencing safe work practices, and supporting the development and implementation of systems and strategies that minimise manual‑handling‑related risks and promote the safety and wellbeing of staff, patients, visitors, and consumers. You will need * Broad experience working as a Registered Nurse across a range of practice settings within the health sector. * Sound knowledge and understanding (or working towards) of current Tasmanian Work Health & Safety legislation and an in-depth understanding of the current Hazardous Manual Tasks: Code of Practice. * Experience in (or working towards) undertaking Work Health & Safety risk assessments in relation to manual handling risks. * Experience in delivering education and training to diverse groups. Salary: $118,297 to $125,543 per annum.
