This team is essential to the smooth operation of pathology services, ensuring that every sample is handled with precision and care from the moment it arrives. The Role: The Preanalytics Team are the ‘gate keepers’ for samples received into Pathology. They are responsible for determining if samples and request forms are appropriate for analysis. Preanalytics also performs a referral role dispatching sample's nationally and internationally. You will need: * Previous experience in specimen reception and data entry functions within a diagnostic laboratory environment. * Ability to work as the sole technician on an out of hour’s roster. * Ability to apply standard operating procedures in the work environment. * Ability to maintain focus and accuracy in a fast-paced role. Salary: $73,811 to $79,779 per annum.
