THE ROLE As a Food Services Officer, you will support in providing high-quality catering services within the hospital. This includes assisting with food preparation, production, service, meal distribution, ware-washing and maintaining clean and hygienic kitchen and service areas. You will play an important role in ensuring patients, visitors, and staff receive meals that meet dietary requirements, while contributing to a safe, efficient, and customer-focused food service environment. YOU WILL NEED * Knowledge or experience in food preparation, food safety, and maintaining hygienic work practices * Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team * A reliable, safety-focused approach with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application. DETAILS OF APPOINTMENT Permanent, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. *Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
