Hours per fortnight 73.5 hours - flexible options available.  Duties 1. Manage a small team delivering multi-Group executive, administrative, and business support services, ensuring high performance, service consistency, and alignment with departmental priorities. 2. Provide supervision, coaching, and performance development support to direct reports, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. 3. Coordinate strategic liaison and communication between internal business units, executive offices, ministerial offices, and external stakeholders, ensuring timely task allocation, issue resolution, and escalation of complex matters. 4. Support the design, implementation and evaluation of workflow systems and administrative processes across the Department, providing expert advice on protocols and tools, and leading staff training to embed service excellence and operational consistency. 5. Oversee the development and quality assurance of high-level documentation, including parliamentary briefs, financial reports, background papers and reporting, ensuring alignment with departmental standards and strategic objectives. 6. Undertake research and analysis to inform the redesign of systems and processes, applying problem-solving skills to improve efficiency, responsiveness, and administrative capability across executive services. 7. Drive delivery of small-scale projects and cross-agency initiatives, applying sound judgment, flexibility, and evaluation frameworks to ensure quality outcomes and measurable impact. 8. Foster a collaborative team environment, promote working cooperatively with colleagues across the Department to share knowledge, support workload balance, and contribute to a positive, safe and inclusive workplace culture. 9.
