[https://publicstorage.dc2.pageuppeople.com/759/ProviderAsset/756e410f-6af3-4af6-ac4a-a65c7960e089.png] LOCATION Hobart PERIOD OF APPOINTMENT Permanent, full time - 73.5 hours per fortnight  DUTIES * Oversee the processing and validation of payroll transactions and ensure accuracy and compliance with legislative and industrial requirements. * Interpret award conditions, enterprise agreements, and departmental policies, resolving queries and anomalies with authoritative expertise. * Act as a key liaison point between Payroll Services and internal/external stakeholders including leaders and external agencies. * Mentor and support payroll officers, contributing to staff capability through coaching, guidance, and knowledge sharing. * Conduct payroll audits and implement internal controls to maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with audit and regulatory standards. * Support system upgrades and improvements by collaborating with IT and HR teams, contributing to testing, feedback, and change management initiatives.
