In this role, you will deliver high-quality mental health care in accordance with Mental Health Service principles, National Mental Health Standards, agency policies, legal requirements, and relevant professional competencies. The role: * Provides comprehensive general inpatient and community psychiatric services in the north west region of Tasmania. * Acts as a consultant to mental health professionals and health service providers, including general practitioners and other agencies, regarding the assessment and management of individuals with mental health disorders. * Undertakes supervisory responsibilities with Registrars/Career Medical Officers, Resident Medical Officers and other medical staff as required/appropriate. Salary: Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1- 11, Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 3 $216,300 - $310,389 per annum, pro rata + 12% superannuation.
