This role will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver secondary level mental health assessment and interventions for infants, children, and their families and caregivers, experiencing emerging complexity regarding emotional, social, relational, and behavioural functioning. About Medicare Mental Health Kids Hub Tas: Medicare Mental Health kids Hub Tas is an integrated secondary level mental health service for emerging complexity for the 0-12 year age group and represents an important addition to a child and family mental health stepped care model in Tasmania. This early intervention service enables families to access a range of evidence based individual and group interventions and supports for mild to moderate emotional, behavioural, social, relational, and developmental challenges. The Medicare mental Health Kids Hub Tas service works with families, and universal, secondary, and tertiary service providers, to provide integrated and holistic care. The Department for Education, Children and Young People (DECYP) is a key co-service partner. The role will: * As part of the Medicare Mental Health Kids Hub North team, support the establishment and ongoing functioning of the North program * Undertake assessments, care planning and delivery of individual and group secondary level mental health interventions to children and families, including culturally appropriate services. * Develop and support collaborative care partnerships with service providers including across primary health, child health and parenting, paediatrics, child safety, education, and early childhood programs and services. * Collect and review client and service outcome data and participate in activities to improve client outcomes. * Contribute to continuing quality and safety, service development and improvement, and professional development processes and standards.
