This early intervention service enables families to access a range of evidence based individual and group interventions and supports for mild to moderate emotional, behavioural, social, relational, and developmental challenges. The Medicare mental Health Kids Hub Tas service works with families, and universal, secondary, and tertiary service providers, to provide integrated and holistic care. The Department for Education, Children and Young People (DECYP) is a key co-service partner. THE ROLE The Administrative Officer provides high-level administrative and operational support to the Medicare Mental Health kids Hub Tas team. Working within a multidisciplinary environment, the role coordinates administrative systems and ensures efficient day-to-day service delivery. The position supports clinicians, manages records and resources, and acts as a key point of contact for staff, clients, and stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality and contributing to quality, safety, and organisational goals. * High level of accuracy and attention to detail, especially in records and documentation * Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to handle complex enquiries * Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities * Experience providing high-level administrative support, ideally in a health or service environment * Ability to coordinate workflows and supervise or support administrative staff * Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and across services  Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application. DETAILS OF APPOINTMENT Fixed term, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for approximately 12 (twelve) months. *Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
