Care is provided by an interdisciplinary team including a Consultant-led Medical home team, a Nursing team with specialist support from the General Medical Clinical Nurse Consultant, senior Allied Health professionals, and other services or supports as required. THE ROLE Supports and works collaboratively with less experienced members of the healthcare team and participates in orientation, precepting, clinical teaching, overseeing learning experiences, and goal setting for nursing and midwifery novices. YOU WILL NEED: 1. Current knowledge of, and the ability to apply nursing/midwifery principles, procedures, and evidence-based practices in the delivery of patient/client care in a relevant clinical setting and in line with legal requirements, the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA), Registered Nurse or Midwife Standards for Practice and other relevant professional standards. 2. Demonstrated ability to use clinical coaching principles to support professional and clinical development of novice nurses and midwives. 3. Demonstrated ability to provide clinical leadership to support the nursing or midwifery management team, and to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team. DETAILS OF APPOINTMENT Fixed term, part time, shift worker position, working 64 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for a period of up to nine (9) months.  *notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies. SALARY $102,439 to $109,175 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. * Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023. In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: * Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type SALARY PACKAGING: You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
