The Peacock Centre includes the following services: Mental Health Integration Hub, Peacock House and Safe Haven. All the services work together in an integrated way to assist meeting the needs of individuals, their families and support networks be providing respectful and responsive care, valuing the perspective of those with lived experience and ensuring an ongoing focus on recovery. Peacock House provides intensive mental health support in the community. The 12-bedroom unit is designed like a home to be open and welcoming and provides services to help people return to satisfying and meaningful lives. THE ROLE * Ensure the delivery of a comprehensive clinical service through the provision of assessment, case management and individual therapies, including specialised therapies for service consumers and their families or carers * Provision of evidence-based assessment and treatment interventions for service consumers with major and complex mental health problems, including the development and implementation of specialised treatment programs. * Function as an active member of a multidisciplinary team including the provision of support and consultation to other team members as required. YOU WILL NEED * A minimum of two years post graduate employment in a clinical area directly applicable to the community mental health setting. * Demonstrated clinical knowledge and understanding of mental health in relation to the community mental health setting including the ability to provide appropriate assessment of mental health problems. * Demonstrated expertise in the theoretical and practical application of a range of therapeutic interventions relevant to the community mental health setting with the ability to acquire further expertise into the future. DETAILS OF APPOINTMENT Permanent part time, day worker position, working 45.6 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. *Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. SALARY $117,272 to $126,182 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. * Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2025.
