The Team: Become part of a dedicated team of 45 physiotherapy professionals, including a Manager, Deputy Managers, Clinical Lead Physiotherapists, and both Senior and Junior Physiotherapists. We operate across three sites, delivering high-quality care in acute, subacute, and community settings. The Role: * Deliver high-quality inpatient physiotherapy services across all acute wards at NWRH, ensuring smooth patient care and transitions between weekday and weekend services. * Work autonomously over weekends to provide efficient, patient-centred care, including an expanded transdisciplinary role within the Emergency Department (ED) and Emergency Medical Unit (EMU). Support patient flow and timely discharge by assisting with transitions in and out of ED and EMU. * Manage a varied caseload spanning geriatric, orthopaedic, and acute medical patients, while leading complex care and discharge planning. Contribute to service coordination and development, and provide clinical supervision to junior physiotherapists, allied health assistants, and students as required. * Collaborate with senior physiotherapy staff to ensure effective handovers and continuity of care across the broader THS, and provide relief support across inpatient physiotherapy roles when needed. You will need: * High level physiotherapy experience. * Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision in a complex work environment. * High level of experience working in an inpatient setting. Details of appointment: Permanent, part time, shift worker position, working up to 49.4 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as you can join our team. Within these hours the successful applicant will be rostered every second weekend and shouldering weekdays. *notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Salary: $110,425 to $121,907 per annum (Pro rata).
