We are a collaborative, values-driven team committed to continuous learning, quality improvement, and making a positive difference in the lives of young Tasmanians.  The Role: As a Youth Health Worker, you will play a key role in supporting young people to improve their health and wellbeing through both individual and group-based approaches. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide assessment, brief intervention, therapeutic counselling, advocacy, education and group facilitation to young people experiencing a range of challenges. You will also contribute to health promotion activities, community development initiatives, and service improvement processes. Your work will include both centre-based services and outreach to the community, ensuring young people can access support in ways that are flexible, responsive and appropriate to their needs. No two days are the same. You may be supporting a young person through a brief intervention, facilitating a group program, collaborating with other services, or contributing to initiatives that promote youth wellbeing across the community. You will need: * A relevant university-level qualification in an allied health discipline (e.g. Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy or similar).  * Demonstrated experience, or emerging capability, in working with young people, including assessment, brief intervention and/or group work. * Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and engage young people in a flexible, responsive way. Salary: $73,834 to $111,364 per annum.
