Details of appointment: * Multiple Permanent full time and part time, day worker (with on call) position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from June 2026. *notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time and casual vacancies. Salary: Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1- Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 3 $216,300 - $310,389 per annum, pro rata + 12% superannuation + access to salary packaging. The remuneration package for this position, based on classification as a Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 9, starts at $484,000 per annum, with potential for higher earnings in accordance with the current Specialist Medical Practitioner Award (Tasmania). Please note that access to the Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner salary range $300,216 -$310,389 is subject to the successful applicant satisfying the criteria for Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1, 2 or 3 as outlined in the Medical Practitioners (Tasmanian State Service) Award * Salary range is in accordance with Medical Practitioners Agreement 2022 In addition, the following allowances and benefit, calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available  * Salary packaging options include a range of benefits like living expenses up to $9,010 and $2,650 in meals and entertainment every year * Provision of a fully maintained private plated motor vehicle or motor vehicle allowance of $28,786 per annum, pro rata * Participation in Private Practice Scheme 35% or allowance in lieu of private practice schemes 35% * Continuing Professional Development Allowance of $16,974 per annum, pro rata  * Travel and relocation assistance support available up to $15,000 for eligible appointees from overseas, and up to $10,000 for appointees from interstate. * Professional development and accelerated pathways. * A range of leave entitlements, including study leave and Professional Development Support. * Fitness Passport – You, and your family can access 40+ fitness facilities across Tasmania for just $14.50 per week per person, or $28.05 for a family.
