The Team: The Launceston General Hospital is Tasmania's second largest hospital with a busy elective and emergency service utilising 9 main Operating Theatres. The LGH works closely with the University of Tasmania and is a major clinical teaching and research centre. All our services work closely together to deliver excellence in healthcare to achieve improved outcomes for our consumers, workforce and the Tasmanian community guided by our CARE values The Role: * This role requires strong collaborative relationships between the Clinical Nurse Educator, CNC Flow Manager and NUM to ensure adequate clinical support and mentorship for less experienced nurses within the perioperative environment. * The successful applicant will model and exhibit advanced clinical knowledge and expertise in Instrument/Circulating within the perioperative setting. * The Operating Room Suite is a dynamic and fast paced environment requiring Clinical Coaches to be self directed, and proactive working both as independent practitioners and members of a highly functioning team. Details of appointment: Permanent part time, shift worker position, working 64 hours per fortnight, commencing from 29 March 2026. *notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Salary: $102,439 to $109,175 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. * Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023. In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: * Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10 % based on qualification type Salary Packaging: You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
