WE ARE LOOKING FOR A POSITIVE BEHAVIOUR SUPPORT MANAGER WHO FROM NOVEMBER WILL BE WORKING ON A BESPOKE PROJECT FOR 12 MONTHS AND BEYOND!

This is an exciting opportunity to join Happy Futures team in a dual role where no two days will be the same. You will be supporting an amazing team while getting the chance to deliver on some bespoke consultancy projects, guided by our brilliant PBS team.

Responsibilities

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Professional experience of working with adults and children with Autism, learning disabilities and other support needs.
  • Experience of working in PBS role or equivalent.
  • In-depth knowledge of supporting needs of people with Autism., Learning disabilities and other support needs, sound and up to date understanding of PBS, active support, mental capacity and how this is used to inform practice.
  • Hold a formal qualification in Positive Behaviour Support, such as BSc in intellectual and developmental disabilities, MSc in applied behaviour analysis, MA or MSc in Autism studies, PBS/ABA graduate diploma or PBS BTEC level 5 (advanced professional diploma).
  • Registered with the UK-SBA as a UKBA(cert) , aUKBA(cert) or Practicing registrant.
  • Proven track record of team leadership and associated skills.
  • Demonstrated history of providing direct support to people with learning disabilities and/or Autism and challenging behaviour.
  • Experience conducting behavioural assessments and developing, implementing and evaluating interventions for individuals presenting with challenging behaviour.
  • History of delivering Positive Behaviour Support training.
  • History of reducing the use of restrictive practices.
