DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a PBS Practitioner to join the team. This is a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave, it is a full time role of 37.5 hours. You would be required to work across 2 sites which are:
Caerlan, East Caerlan Farm, Newbridge Road, Llantrisant, CF72 8EX and Mount View House, Pothouse lane, Syke Wardle, Rochdale,OL12 9PP

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a PBS Practitioner, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

The ideal candidate will hold a formal qualification in Positive Behaviour Support or a related field, with experience conducting behavioural assessments and developing effective interventions for individuals with challenging behaviours. They will have a background in supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism, a solid understanding of relevant legal frameworks, and the ability to work in demanding situations. Strong leadership, communication, and report-writing skills are essential, along with experience delivering PBS training and reducing restrictive practices. A full driver’s license and access to a vehicle for business use are also required.
