Positive Behaviour Support Team Leader Pay £13.98 per hour (£27,338 per annum) and great benefits including Health Cash Plan Temporary (9 months contract), full time (37.5 hpw), 2 admin days in service and 22.5 hours a week on rota. You’ll manage our team to provide person-centred and strengths-based support to our customer (S) and help them reach their full potential. S has complex needs including a moderate learning disability, autism, Non-Verbal, some sensory processing challenges. They are early 20s and are outgoing, cheeky and enjoys being outside in the garden. S has some sensory processing difficulties, and likes to touch items, moving them between their hands to meet the needs, firm favourites are socks, sand and bubbles. What you’ll do You’ll manage a team of PBS Support Workers centred around a customer with complex presentation. You and your team will support customers with any aspect of their day-to-day living. You’ll work in a person-centred, strengths-based and psychologically informed way, so they can enjoy the best possible quality of life You’ll be in regular contact with your manager updating, escalating and reporting on all aspects of the service delivery. You’ll be responsible for planning and overseeing complex support working with customers who display behaviours of concern and may require personal care working alongside Home Group’s local multi-disciplinary team Motivating, directing, guiding, coaching and supporting your team to work with our customers. Worked as a Senior Support Worker, leading support for people with complex needs, or behaviours of distress. A patient and calm approach, able to adapt your style to X's needs, as well as to the specific occasion and circumstances, even when they challenge us. Great people management and motivation skills, bringing colleagues together to share information, best practice and fostering creativity. Experience of positive risk management, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of customers and colleagues.
